At this time of year I am always ready for Jan 1 to appear. Partly because when Christmas is over, I feel like, ok, let's get on with normal life. I love Christmas time, with the cozy nights, the beautiful lights, the excitement of gift-giving, etc. But when it is done, I am bored and ready to move on.
I have actually had my 2011 goals written out for over a month now. This is because between working on the new house, holiday stuff in general, and this being the busy time for Beachbody, I knew I would not have time/energy to be sure to have them all thought out this week!
I am still thinking of whether I want so publicly share these. There is always that worry, what if I put them out there and I do not succeed. Then I have failed. But do you know that the best way TO accomplish your goals IS to put them out there! So I probably will in the next few days. I already have them typed up and ready to print to hang in my new office. (p.s. have I told you all how excited I am to have an official, with door office again?)
What I am going to share with you right now is my fitness plan for the year. My very first goal is to weigh 135 pounds. I am doing what I was told by Brian Tracy and that is take your list of goals and circle the one goal that you think if you accomplish, will help you achieve all the other goals on your list. I KNOW getting to my goal weight will help me to be more confidant, put myself out there more, etc.
SO HERE IS MY PLAN:

(I know I just did the post about not need tools to lose weight. I swear it is true. But I also did say how I love to use/have tools, and that I think if you can afford to use them, than by all means do it. Well, I have just got my Beachbody business to the point where I am making enough money monthly to pay for the weight loss things I want to use. And I get an awesome discount on the product, so I am going to GO BIG OR GO HOME, and get smaller doing it!)
- Drinking Shakeology Daily
- Tracking Points with Weight Watchers Point Plus Online Program
- Taking the Beachbody Slimming Pack, which is the ActiVit Metabolism Formula and the Slimming Formula supplements
- For workouts I will be doing the P90X, TurboFire Hybrid.
Bascially, I get bored easily. I tried out P90X a few weeks back, and I really really enjoyed Tony Horton and the program. But I really think I will miss my Turbo too much if I just do P90X, and it will be good to have mix up of both the programs, and I have them both so it is an added bonus. I JUST found out that there is a hybrid out there. I was so pumped. I knew there was a TF/CLX, but did not know they combined it with P90X. I really enjoy and can see the fitness benefits of the HIIT portions of Turbo Fire.
I am so pumped for this. I did CLX last year and I was so happy with the results from that and drinking Shakeology. 23 pounds gone. But, this year I am going to make sure I do really with BOTH the working out AND the eating.
I have also learned something about myself, that I kinda really knew in the first place, but just paying attention to myself helps so much. I do not do well in the heat. (I know everyone tells me no one does, but just trust me, I think it is different.) So, i know I need to spend the next 6 months kicking butt in the workout department, so come July, I can just breeze by and do easy exercises like walking trails in Kensington, biking, swimming, rollerblading etc. One plus, is that our new house this summer will have air! Our last one did not. I hate getting so sweaty and then without having air it is like I NEVER cooled down!
